Black spaces and city lights

"You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine.."

This weekend it is the very famous Busan Fireworks Festival and I'm on my way there rignt now. Sitting in the bus smelling who I guess is my friendly Korean "friends" stinky feet or maybe it's mine, not sure, and having a beautiful view of the road ahead. The traffic lights create interesting shapes on the dash of the bus and the red and white lights of the cars really colour in the picture at the moment. (I might be a little bored.) With music in my ears I'm starting this 4h30 journey on a positive note.

You wouldn't have thought I'd be this positive an hour ago. My day was pretty shitty. I did love my little angels but the walls of my office are eating me alive. And it help that my school has a lack in communication regarding afterschool lift club, they told me I need to take the bus home todayof all days immediately bputting me in risk to miss my already booked bus to Busan. I missed the bus anyway in the end because of language barriers and a lack of english sigh boards around. I ran a marathon around the building in search of another building which I couldn't find, with a turtle shell on my back (backpack). Eventually I pitched up at the right ticket booth just to hear I missed the bus and have to go for a more expensive option. Not my kind of fun. But I kept reminding myself smile and be positive. Everything will work out. And it did... I had a nice cup of greentea. Best!!

I eventually arrived in Busan and the search for the hostel I booked at began. I met a nice lady on the side of the street where exactly we are on the map so that I could orientate myself. She ended up walking with me all the way to my hostel. (You still get nice people). I got to my hostel and found my bed and went straight to sleep. I had a long day but mainly saturday was going to be to much fun for me to be tired.

The Saturday awesome. First, I paid a visit to the Aquarium and had lunch at a very nice Pizza place. I also met a very interesting and funny guy from California whi called himself "mango jack". His family owns a mango farm. There after I took some time to sit on the beach and read a book. The evening it was time for the International Fireworks Festival. I met up with two South African friends to watch the show. It was spectacular. The whole show was synchronized with music in the form of a love story.

Then it was the big game! Semi- finals between the Springboks and All Blacks. Although we lost the game, being part of the such an electric vibe in The Wolfhound with other South Africans, singing the National Anthem and ending the game with the Springbokkie shot really made this night one to remember.
