Friendsgiving

"It's always more festive with great company and too much food"

Friendsgiving is an American tradition that spilled over to Korea since the influence of America is much greater than one would expect. But in my case it wasn't exactly the influence but rather the fact that I met a lovely couple who came from America who is also teachers and lives in my town. They were so kind to open their house and invite everyone to join in on the feast. We were 12 people all together for the festivities.

We were all asked to make something to eat which resulted in having way too much food. I decided to make some veggie bake and some roasted veggies for everyone and started my prepping the day before. As most of my friends would know I'm not one loves cooking or standing in the kitchen unless it's eating something or getting something to drink. But I'm not completely hopeless. Everything aka the veggies was a huge success and I still have enough veggies left to last me a week. I ate pumpkin pie for the first time in my life and it was delicious. We also had a big ice cream cake. I literally rolled home the evening; I was so full.
